Position Overview
Position Title: Electrical Technician
Job Type: Full-time
Office Hours: 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM (May require shift/overtime as needed)
Experience: 2 – 6 Years
Location: KD One, KD Marg, Baburam Acharya Sadak, Sinamangal, Kathmandu 44600, Nepal
Qualification & Eligibility
Diploma or ITI in Electrical Engineering / Electrical Technology
Valid electrical license/certification (preferred)
Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in industrial or commercial electrical work
Freshers with strong technical background may be considered for assistant role
Required Skills
Strong knowledge of electrical systems, circuits, and wiring diagrams
Proficiency in troubleshooting electrical faults and conducting repairs
Experience with transformers, panels, switchgear, and distribution boards
Knowledge of safety standards, PPE usage, and electrical codes (Nepal / International)
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics
Basic knowledge of PLC systems and motor controls (advantage)
Key Responsibilities
Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, wiring, and equipment
Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on electrical panels, transformers, and generators
Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical malfunctions using testing instruments (multimeter, clamp meter, etc.)
Ensure all electrical work complies with safety regulations and company policies
Assist in new electrical installations and project work as assigned
Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs
Respond to emergency breakdowns and coordinate with the maintenance team
